Apple will announce its latest iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models later this year with big changes in terms of design and front-facing features. One of the big changes coming to the iPhone 15 Pro's exterior is the action button that will take the place of the Mute Switch. However, it was later revealed that the company would not go ahead with the plan due to technical difficulties. The feature is now expected to arrive with the launch of iPhone 16 Pro models. Potentially, Apple will also offer standard iPhone 16 models with an action button, removing the middle switch from the lineup entirely.
