The latest benchmarks for Intel's Arc A580 graphics card based on the Alchemist GPU architecture have leaked in Geekbench.

Intel Arc A580 GPU nearing launch? Unreleased Alchemist graphics card leaked again in benchmarks

The Intel Arc A580 GPU is starting to appear again across several benchmarks and databases. We recently saw the chip leaked in GFXBench and now we have another entry on Geekbench along with performance benchmarks. The latest reference has been spotted again by Benchleaks.

Starting with the specs, the Intel Arc A580 has 24 cores, 384 EUs and 3072 ALUs clocked at an official graphics clock of 1700 MHz, but the benchmark reports speeds of up to 2.4 GHz which is in line with the other two Arc A770 and Arc A750 graphics card. The graphics card will offer 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM over a 256-bit bus interface with up to 512 GB/s bandwidth and a TBP of 175W.

In terms of performance, the Intel Arc A580 graphics card scored 82,992 points in the OpenCL benchmark tests. The test setup consisted of an Intel Core i7-1270 CPU and 32 GB DDR5-4800 memory on the ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-E Gaming WIFI motherboard. This puts the performance on par with the AMD Radeon RX 7600 which scores around 82,981 points on average with the NVIDIA RTX 3060 sitting close to 6.5% faster. The following is the distribution of the benchmarks:

Having performance on par with AMD's Radeon RX 7600 and getting close to the RTX 3060 while being much cheaper could definitely be a strong selling point for the Intel Arc A580 GPU. The company also recently launched its A570M and A530M GPUs based on the ACM-G12 GPU, so it seems we may even see a silent launch of the A580 just like the two parts.

Considering that the Intel Arc A750 GPU is now officially priced at $249 US with discounts making it available under $200 US, it is likely that we can expect the Arc A580 graphics card with an MSRP of $199 US and further discounts bringing it close to $150 US . Additionally, the improvements on the driver side of things for the Arc will definitely make this a very popular graphics card among the mainstream gaming crowd, but we can't say for sure when Intel plans to launch this card. Intel is rumored to launch its Alchemist+ update series at some point, so perhaps we'll see the A580 launch with it.
