Download: Apple Releases iOS 17, watchOS 10 and macOS Sonoma Public Beta 2 Along with Revised Developer Betas

Apple has seen fit to release the second beta version of the upcoming iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10 and macOS Sonoma. If you are currently in the phase of testing the upcoming platforms, we recommend that you download and install the latest builds. The company has also released revised beta versions of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10 and macOS Sonoma to developers.

Apple has released public beta 2 of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma, watchOS 10 and tvOS 17

If you're a public beta tester, you can download and install the latest iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 public beta builds on your compatible iPhone or iPad. The update will be available to you over the air, and all thanks to Apple's new beta installation mechanism, you no longer need to download a configuration profile. Just follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Switch to General.

Step 3: Select Software Update.

Step 4: Tap on Beta Updates

Step 5: Select iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 Public Beta 2.

This is all you need to do. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 public beta 2. Before following the guide, make sure your Apple ID is linked to your developer account on Apple's dedicated website. iOS 17 public beta 2 will give your iPhone more stability, and the company could also have added new features to the mix.

Other than iOS 17, Apple has also released public beta 2 of macOS Sonoma. The latest update will be available to you over the air. You can download and install macOS Sonoma public beta 2 by going to the Software Update section of System Preferences. Make sure your developer account is linked to your Apple ID. Like iOS 17, macOS Sonoma public beta 2 will now be more stable and may include more features.

Apple has also released watchOS 10 public beta 2 with improved stability and new features. You can install the latest update via the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Launch the app and head over to General > Software Update > Beta Updates > select watchOS 10 Public Beta 2. Just follow the on-screen instructions to download the latest version.

You can also install the latest tvOS 10 beta on Apple TV. The latest update will be available in the Settings app on Apple TV. The last addition will be improved stability and some features to the platform. Alongside the public betas, Apple has also seeded the revised editions of iOS 17, iPadOS 17 and macOS Sonoma developer betas.
