Download: Apple Releases iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS Sonoma, tvOS 17 Beta 4 to Developers

Apple announced iOS 17 at its WWDC event in June, and the update will bring a slew of important features to the iPhone later this year. Currently, iOS 17 is resting in beta phase and today Apple has decided to release iOS 17 beta 4 to developers for testing. If you are a developer, you can download and install the latest version on your iPhone right now. The company has also released iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS Sonoma and tvOS 17 beta 4 to developers for you to install on your compatible devices.

Apple releases iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, tvOS 17 and macOS Sonoma Beta 4 to developers

iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 can be installed wirelessly on iPhone and iPad via the Settings app. All you need to do is head over to General > Software Update > Beta Updates and install iOS 17 beta 4 on your iPhone or iPad. Once the update is downloaded, follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest update. Make sure your Apple ID is linked to your developer account to receive the latest beta updates. iOS 17 is a big update considering the number of features it brings to the table. Besides iOS 17, Apple has also released beta 4 of watchOS 10 to developers for testing purposes. To install the latest beta, just head over to the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Once you've done that, go to General > Software Update > Beta Updates and install watchOS 10 beta 4 on your Apple Watch. To install the latest beta, make sure your Apple Watch has more than 50 percent battery life and is connected to a power source. watchOS 10 is a big update, as well as bringing a brand new home screen layout for Apple Watch that makes it easier to navigate. Apple has also released macOS Sonoma beta 4 to developers along with iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. If you want to install the latest beta, you should first download the appropriate configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center. Once the profile is installed, the latest beta version can be installed through the software update mechanism in system settings. Finally, tvOS 17 beta 4 has also been released to developers for testing. You can download the latest beta version through the Settings app on your Apple TV. Make sure you have a developer account associated with your Apple ID to install the latest update. tvOS updates are usually small, but you can check our announcement post for more information.
