Dead by Daylight Alien Crossover Announced, More Details Coming Next Week

The Dead by Daylight crossover train isn't slowing down anytime soon. The asymmetrical multiplayer horror game has already drawn the likes of Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger and characters from the Silent Hill and Resident Evil series into the mist, but this latest crossover could be the biggest yet. Today, Montreal-based developer Behavior Interactive confirmed Dead by Daylight: Alien is on the way via the following tantalizing teaser trailer.

Plenty of foreign flavor there! The teaser trailer seems to confirm that a unique alien-themed realm and a Xenomorph Killer are on the way. Now, the big question – will we get to play as Ellen Ripley as a survivor? And if she is added to the game, will Sigourney Weaver voice her? We'll just have to wait until next week to find out, as Behavior Interactive promises to reveal more on August 8.

Speaking of celebrity voices, Dead by Daylight recently added Nicolas Cage as a playable Survivor. No, not any of the many characters Nic Cage has played – just Nic Cage the actor.
