Cyberpunk 2077 is getting some new fan-made missions ahead of the expansion's release

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to become a much bigger game next month with the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion, but fans of the open-world RPG by CD Projekt Red don't have to wait for the expansion to experience some brand new content in Night City, thanks to be some new quests made by fans.

The new missions, as reported by GamingBible, called Californication, One More Light and Hot Fuzz, can be downloaded from Nexus Mods and allow players to experience more of the dangerous Night City as they interact with characters seen in the base game, such as Judy, who must be romanced to experience the Californication and Hot Fuzz missions. Although these missions were originally released in March, they were updated over the past few weeks, so they may be worth another spin, even if you already played through them when they were released online. As already mentioned, Cyberpunk 2077 will return to the spotlight next month with the Phantom Liberty expansion, which aims to be an incredible addition to the game. CD Projekt Red also updated the game's system requirements prior to the expansion's launch to better reflect what type of hardware can run the game at certain settings, and also confirmed that HDDs will no longer be supported, although the game will continue to run on mechanical drives even after Phantom Liberty and future updates will go live.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide. The Phantom Liberty expansion launches on September 26, 2023.
