Analyst shares expected to rise for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, here's how much it could cost

Apple is planning major changes for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models in terms of hardware as well as the internals that power the handset. We expect a new Action Button, grade 5 titanium finish, and a faster A17 Bionic processor based on TSMC's 3nm process. The news was shared by analyst Tim Long at British bank Barclays, highlighting his expectations around the price of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max (via MacRumors ). We are all familiar with the list of changes coming this year and the price increase is quite justified. First, the A17 Bionic chip based on TSMC's 3nm architecture is expensive compared to the A16 Bionic on the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Furthermore, the grade 5 titanium finish is also more expensive than stainless steel. Together, these changes will add up to the total cost, and if Apple aims to maintain or increase profit margins, they will need to increase the price of the iPhone 15 Pro models. Apart from this, the company is also replacing the Mute Switch with an action button that will offer a completely new user experience.

Tim Long suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro could see a price increase of $100 , while the iPhone 15 Pro Max could see a price increase of up to $200 . The standard models of the iPhone have the same price as the current models, and Apple could have decided to keep the price due to lower demand. To be fair, the price of the iPhone 15 Pro seems to be quite reasonable considering the number of changes coming to the device. But adding $200 to the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max would make it a bit out of hand for some individuals.
