If the device is too close to their face, beyond the set limit, the iPhone will display a message suggesting that "iPhone is too close". iOS 17 will use the Face ID sensors to make the feature work. The TrueDeoth sensor will measure the distance between the iPhone and the user's face and recommend whether the person should keep a distance from the screen.

When the iPhone is moved away to a safe distance, a check mark will appear on the screen, highlighting that it is now safe to use the device.
